V(T) = total cavity volume = V(Pi) + V(PS) + V(S) + V(Pe) where

         V(Pi) = initial primary cavity volume

         V(PS) = primary cavity volume through bloodshot cavity

         V(S) = bloodshot cavity volume

         V(Pe) = exit primary cavity volume

V(ST) = total cavity volume within the bloodshot cavity periphery

            = V(S) + V(PS)

L(T) = total penetration length

L(S) = bloodshot cavity maximum length

Dmax = bloodshot cavity maximum diameter

L(Dmax) = length to the maximum bloodshot cavity diameter

I(V) = violence index (qualitative meat-damage indicator) = V(S) / V(PS)
